Barre training, originally established in London by Lotte Berk in 1959, combines elements of ballet, Pilates and sometimes yoga into a fast paced, low impact class aimed to tone and sculpt muscles toward achieving a ‘dancer’s physique’.

Over the past 10 years it has skyrocketed in popularity with barre studios opening up all over the world and health professionals putting their personal spin on barre.

Ashleigh will be teaching the True Potential Physiotherapy classes with a focus on movement as being the essence of physical training. Adopting ideologies from ballet, contemporary dance, Pilates, yoga and resistance training, Ashleigh delivers a holistic class that challenges the brain, the mind and the body. Her goal is to encourage people to want to learn more about what their bodies are capable of achieving.
